General Information

Harmony Bazaar is a summer music festival focusing primarily on female singer songwriters. Harmony Bazaar 2012 will be the 7th offering of this festival in the rural coastal community of Lockeport, Nova Scotia. The development of women telling their stories through song and music is the key principle of HB. Engaging the community and creating a cultural community that enhances participation in music as a viable career option through professional, semi-professional, novice and youth opportunities as well as formal learning opportunities are the key principles of Harmony Bazaar Festival of Women & Song Society.


HB provides stages to highlight professional, semi-professional, novice, and youth performers to share their original works.

We strive to increase women's participation in creating music and in having music as a viable career option. The development of a cultural sector in our local area is essential to the feasibility of women engaging in music and songwriting as a career choice.

HB Festival makes its home at Seacaps Memorial Park located at 57 Hall Street Lockeport.  This outdoor venue is central in the town and boasts great views of the stage, coverage from the rain, and a children's play park on site.  http://www.reverbnation.com/venue/seacapsmemorialpark
